CSSMA’s President’s Report
October 2004
The Chicago Region Management Association (CSSMA)
had a very busy year in service to its members.
This year we continued to emphasize regular and
proactive communications with our Regional leadership. The
Officers met twice with the Regional Commissioner and Deputy
Commissioner and had very productive meetings.
We issued four CSSMA Today newsletters. These
newsletters have been noted throughout the National Council as
innovative and interesting. We also considerably expanded the
content, depth and look of our CSSMA website. Now you can find a
great deal of information on our website about our
Association’s activities. Our website is kept current and can
be viewed at:
www.ncssma.org/cssma/default.htm
The CSSMA Executive Committee met in late
January in Detroit, Michigan and in September in the Wisconsin
Dells. Our Annual Meeting was also in the Wisconsin Dells and
had excellent attendance along with a very well received
training session by ComedySportz of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
We instituted a change in the method of voting
for our two of our CSSMA Awards (All One Agency Award and Public
Service Award.) These were decided by a ballot with all members.
Our award winners were:
All One Agency: Frank Palimisano
Public Service Award: Al Kares
Robert P. Fleminger Award: Brian Gostomski
Some of CSSMA’s other accomplishments over the
past year include:
- Worked to improve management support in the field offices.
- Supported enhancement of the ASC position and the merging
of this position with the ATS position.
- Conducted a conference call with all TSC CSSMA members to
discuss their concerns.
- Suggested improvements to both Administrative and Program
software to improve productivity in the field.
- Shared numerous cost savings suggestions with the members.
This included bringing to the attention of members many new
websites to more efficiently process our work.
Respectively submitted,
Rick Warsinskey, President, CSSMA
